Women can do great works in the church, they are not to be belittled and treated as second class Christians because they are women. The Bible does limit what a woman can do in the church. Just because the Bible forbids women from being pastors does not mean that they cannot be an active part of the church.

I wonder if Prophetess Teresa Cox missed the following passages in the Bible?

1 Timothy 3:1-6 (New American Standard Bible)

1 Timothy 3

Overseers and Deacons

1It is a trustworthy statement: if any man aspires to the office of overseer, it is a fine work he desires to do.

2An overseer, then, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, temperate, prudent, respectable, hospitable, able to teach,

3not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money.

4He must be one who manages his own household well, keeping his children under control with all dignity

5(but if a man does not know how to manage his own household, how will he take care of the church of God?),

6and not a new convert, so that he will not become conceited and fall into the condemnation incurred by the devil.

Titus 1:5-6 (New American Standard Bible)

Qualifications of Elders

5For this reason I left you in Crete, that you would set in order what remains and appoint elders in every city as I directed you,

6namely, if any man is above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion.

  1. Hello, you should really consider your remarks and comments against the church. It you were kingdom you would not be here speaking against Christian women. Go back and read your word. Spend your energy on promoting the gospel, not tearing people down.

Don’t be used by the devil.
