Oneness Pentecostal and Word Faith mogul “Bishop” T.D. Jakes, fresh off his stint preaching for Southern Baptist pastor Ed Young, Jr again, will also be a featured speaker for Bill Hybels and Willow Creek Church this summer.

Despite his denial of the Trinity, i.e. the very nature of God, there right alongside Hybels, Andy Stanley, and some others, T. D. Jakes is scheduled to speak at The Global Leadership Summit 2010 coming up this August 5-6.

And doctrinal differences continue to be erased as below is video of T.D. Jakes who’ll also appear, along with Ed Young, Jr and Andy Stanley, for a second time at the Hillsong Conference 2010 in July.

  1. Gregory J.S.Burrows says:

Although different people understand what is known as the Trinity differently, the Bible does not tell us to determine who is a Christian based on exactly how they view the traditional way of defining the Godhead. The problem with us believers is that we find it hard to start over and make things clear by reexamining an issue and speaking to it, if need be, apart from the clutter of centuries of mixtures of Truth and Tradition. We need to also not base someone’s beliefs on our textbook definitions.Ask them what they mean by what they say.We need to admit also that the Bible is not always as neatly and tightly theological as we hold it out to be.For example, are we told specifically to praise and worship the Holy Spirit? No.Yet we are told in Revelation to praise the Father and Jesus.so we have a measure of clarity about some things and other things are not as clear and straightforward as we would prefer them to be.Because of this we need grace in dealing with others, while continuing to work on perfecting doctrine.
