Hi, I am the guy in those videos. I really at first started to get a little fleshy and well aggravated by your blog, but then after a few seconds it occurred to me that you had obviously not listened to the lyrics posted in the poem and definitely not heard my heart at all. I won’t come at you sideways and act offended, because truthfully I am not offended by your ignorance.

Listen man I could sit here and quote passages like 1 Corinthians 9:19-21 19 Though I am free and belong to no one, I have made myself a slave to everyone, to win as many as possible. 20 To the Jews I became like a Jew, to win the Jews. To those under the law I became like one under the law (though I myself am not under the law), so as to win those under the law. 21 To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God’s law but am under Christ’s law), so as to win those not having the law.

And many others like it, but the truth is that it would be useless to do so since you do not desire to know the correct interpretation of these passages to begin with. I can tell this because you did not hear the scripture in my poetry, or hear my heart in the matter, a heart desiring to see people saved, delivered, set free, and becoming Spirit Filled, followers of Christ who lead others into a relationship with the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, Jesus Christ my savior and my Lord.

So an argument over such semantics is not only useless, but it is not Biblical as we see here in 2 Timothy 2:23-24:
23 Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.

Nah brother, instead I will just pray that the Holy Spirit would show you that you are throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Yes, there are some people who in their attempt to be relevant are operating in areas that God has never called them to operate in…in every arena be it rap, rock music, healing, deliverance, prosperity etc. There are people who misuse the gifts and talents that God gave them for His glory in every arena including rap. But before you automatically judge any and everyone who does rap or other forms of ministry (that you may not like) to be false prophets, or to be the personification of the square peg in the round hole as they make some feeble attempt to be relevant, you should really pray about it yourself. God has given me the talent to write poetry and use that gift to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who would listen. And whether you or anyone else doesn’t like it is irrelevant. God is not going to ask you why I didn’t use the talent He gave me, He will ask me. And I, and I alone will have to answer if I am not a good steward of those talents.
