With any ministry or effective ministry you have “core values”. You might always be able to articulate them but you do operate by them.  I sat with a team of leaders that know the heart of this ministry and we came up with 12 KEY PHRASES that helps to identify the DNA of Encounters Network and thus the EN Alliance.

I did not try (at first) to make all these phrases start with an “A” word for the second word of the phrase.  But as we got into the process of identification, we found there were 12 key components that make up the ingredients of EN • GPS • CA.  One phrase that is not spelled out in this list is the emphasis of “justice” – but it is a major part of who we are as a multi-ministry coalition of friends.  I think the “justice piece” is included though in many of the phrases such as: Mission Ambassadors, Compassion Acts, Kingdom Advancement, and Apostolic Application etc. So it is there – just not in your face type of thing.

I hope that these 12 ingredients resound within you as they did in me when I shared them at one of our Leaders Summit’s some time back.  They represent who we are as a collective people.  We are called to make a difference joining the generations, gender, races and economic strata.  We might not have achieved this mark, but I was taught by my late uncle who was in full time vocational ministry for over 60 years, “If you aim at nothing, you will surely hit it.”  So let’s aim high together and hit something for Jesus sake.

Remember, Together in Jesus, We Make a Great Team.

James W. Goll

    DEAR Brother
How sat it must make the Lord and grieve the Holy Spirit

  2. Andrew Evangelou says:

    Dear Brothers
Thank God for his annointing on his servants.
May God protect his annointed servants from the religious, critical spirit that is trying to cause confusion and division within the church through web sites like this.
May God be merciful to you and judge you not in the manner you have judged his annointed servants and may he give you humlity and spiritual vision to see and recognise the work of his Holy Spirit.May he forgive you for not seeing his hand resting upon those you have passed your judgements on.
May the Lord annointing come upon you in abundance and use your web site to bless his church and be used to UNITE the body of Christ.

    • N. DeLorenzo says:

Speaking gibberish is not a personal prayer language. Pagans did this in their rituals and if you study 1 Corinthians, you might find where Paul speaks against the “unknown tongue.” Faith doesn’t heal people, God heals people. And sometimes, we have to endure physical suffering and God won’t heal us because He is doing something with us (Heb. 12:5-6) Just because we think it unjust doesn’t make God unjust, remember Romans 8:28, all things, not just the easy happy things, all things, even the nasty evil that occurs in the world, works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called ACCORDING TO HIS PURPOSE.

  3. N. DeLorenzo says:

Too many believe so blindly in men like James W. Goll. I have had experiences with charismatic churches in the past and I’ve found through studying the Scripture that they preach a false doctrine. But don’t take my word for it. Don’t take theirs either. Take God’s word. Study it for yourself. Dig in relentlessly, that is if you want to find the Truth. If you like the pleasurable message a man like this preaches, then you only prove your own condemnation. The Bible is the FINAL source of authority when discerning Truth, not some emotional experience, or speaking gibberish, or exploring your own imagination. Be like the Bereans and STUDY THE WORD OF GOD, TESTING ALL TEACHERS AGAINST ITS TRUTH!

  4. dicey1 says:

Charismatic churches and leaders are not always misleading and “false”. There are many examples of good and bad in EVERY single Bible believing/teaching/preaching denomination. What I don’t appreciate is the hate mongering. Believe it or not that was not Jesus’ main message. Stop the hate. Please.

Yes, by all means devour God’s written Word. But also know that none of us, not one, has all the answers.
